Is there any way i can put my dvd's onto my MMC for my nokia 9290 and watch them? Please Help!!!

John

You need to get DVD ripping software and first convert to AVI or MPG (see www.vcdhelp.com for tutorials and software).

I managed to reduce Star Trek: First Contact down to a 40MB RealMedia file with Helix Realproducer (50kbps stream) - my 9210i could play it easily enough if I shut down all the other apps, but the quality wasn't up to much.

If you have a lot of memory free you could use the Nokia multimedia converter (free download from nokia site) to convert to a .NIM file but this will be bigger than the .RM

Hope this helps 😊

....and for that you really need a huge MMC card....

Converting a DVD into AVI then MPEG and then REAL MEDIA is ripping a DVD from its worth an it is no longer called a DVD, not even VCD because real player formats are really very low.

DVD Decrypter for ripper, then AutoGK to converter to AVI. Then use the nokia software for .nim.
It takes about 4hours to do the 'Art Of War", and takes up about 64Mb.

South Park looks better on the phone then other movies, and they only take up about 10 to 13MB.
