Real Genuine Nokia Facias

I have found a supply of facias in all three colours - Rose, Gold, Silver. I was orginally wary of purchasing such items as I did not know how easy it was to fit them but if you hold one of the facais in your hand you can see where the clips are that need to be gently levered away from the housing.
I spotted a supplier on eBay who quoted Genuine OEM parts and upon checking his feedbcak and other items for sale he seems genuine - only sells Nokia and SE OEM facias.
He normally sells the kit - facia, keypad and battrery cover - for less than 15 but I spotted a Rose kit for only 9.99 so took a chance and ordered one. OK so postage is around 8 but if it was the 'mutts nutts' then it was defintiely worth it as I have been quoted 25 for a facia and 9 for the rear cover by UK Nokia Service Points!
The kit arrived around a week and came by recorded mail. All was well padded and also included was a small tool to 'lever' off the front facia. Within a few minutes I had a nice new rose Facia fitted....
I had also spotted the Gold facias but when I looked again after receiving the Rose one it was no longer listed so I emailed and was quoted 41 for two kits (which is what i wanted) inc post so i ordered them direct using PayPal and they arrived today. Again I got the Gold Facia, Gold keypad and Gold rear cover along with the tool and a FREE gift - protective plastic screen.
I can thouroughly recommend these items and the seller who uses the eBay id of 'everydaydeal' .
I will take some high res pictures if anyone is interested.

😉 "I was on the understanding that Nokia didnt recommend removing covers. "

"Not to mention you need a credit card to prise the casing off. I have seen such tools on ebay for removing them but in all honesty...who would want to ruin their phone?"

"A friend done this and the original cover is scratched and has bits chipped off it and the phone itself has small chips in the plastic."

If you do it correctly with the correct tools and NOT a credit card then you should not damage your phone. As I mentioned if you actually look at a genuine facia you can see the clips that hold it on. A credit card is far too thick for this purpose and anybody using one would be asking for trouble and as someone who paid cash for his 6600 (not a FREE one with a contract) I would not want to damage mine unless I knew what I was doing.

I managed it without any dust wahtsoever and also the clear plastic screen protector is fitted better than any other I have seen as they usually have bubbles underneath - mine has none at all and is still fitted.

Ive used a credit card a couple of times now and its ok,
Im not suggesting its better than the correct tool tho Lol 😊

comparing the thickness of a credit card with that of the tool included with most kits I am surprised you got it to fit between the facia and housing to split them apart 😮
