Hi, I'm new to this forum but spent loads of time reading about other people's problems achieving bluetooth sync with P.C and Nokia 6600. I too had problems with separate bluetooth adaptor driver software and the Nokia PC Suite. (Actually mine didn't install properly and had no icons to drive it!) So I plan to buy either Fone Data Suite MA-700 (Mobile Action Technology) or WorldPhone Bluetooth kit (Penpower). The later claims to be the only one that supports Nokia phones but the spec of both indicates full compatibility with my phone and no need for any additional organisational software. The price ranges from 35.00 to 45.00. (Software and adapter) Has anyone tried either or got any thoughts? (I'm on Win 98SE). Look forward to responses. 🙄
Can anyone help?

Hi Buddy,
1. You need to check your BT documentation if the driver accept win98se. If yes then you have to establish troublshoting to check if the port might be reserved by other device so you can select an other port for exmple and get rid of the sharing devices. Usually COM3 is default and the rest is optional.
2. Check if you have USB devices installed in your system . Try to remove it and give it a try. ( This may reslove the conflict in some cases ).
3. Make an attempt to remove the latest installed softeare for this BT or any related driver then give it a try. It may work cuz I had the similar situation
and found such your symptoms before I got my BT running perfectly. By the way am running Win2000.
I wish you good luck.
