help on java file

I download one java game but there isn't no .jar or .jad file.
I only see one .mf(manifest) file what should do with him.how to install.

One .mf file is can't be the whole Java game. What game was it, and from where did you download it (Just in case: If it is an illegal, cracked, pirated copy of a legal one, then I don't want to know & you should buy a legal one, instead)?

Man i don't know if it is legal or not😞I have not installed it but there isn't any key generators or else so.
the game is karpov x3d chess
when unrar it there are some .class files,pics and the.mf file
can you tell me about some good chess game.
free or with a good trial.

Sounds to me like you have extracted the actual .JAR file because your computer has recognised it as a .RAR file. Just don't extract the file, transfer it to you N-Gage and try to install. I'll bet that works.

And btw, as a rule of thumb, you should NEVER download and install something from just anywhere on the web. You may just end up with a dead N-Gage. Have you not heard about viruses/worms and other malware? Make sure you download from a reliable source (i.e. straight from the developer, this site's shop (Handango) or from My-Symbian).

I think its ok to install the bigger file (*.jad) without the *.jar. 🙄

The .jad file is usually smaller (it is just a text file describing where the .jar is & what it contains, more or less); JAD = Java Archive Descriprion.

The .jar (JAR = Java ARchive) is really a zip format archive with the actual Java .class files, etc. = the program/application/midlet.

If you have the .jar, you seldom need the .jad.

I download one program that can generate .jad files from .jar files but i can't manage to work with it.Do someone have the program and what should i do.

Or is there a way to write a .jad file???

Don't unzip the .zip file you downloaded as it will give you a folder full of stuff (including the .mf file which your phone would not understand)

Just rename the .zip file to .jar, copy to your mmc/phone, install it. Tried it on my ngage and works!

I installed it and it's working.not so good i mint😞(

The problem was with the efileman manager.
I tried with fexplorer and every thing's OK
