Problems accessing the Internet from a PDA via Bluetooth

Hi

I've just upgraded to a 7610 from a 6310i. I had my IPAQ linked to the 6310i via a Bluetooth Dialup Modem (calling up dellnet as it happens). This all worked very well and I happily recieved emails and calendar information over a VPN connected to my office server.

I cannot get the dial-up modem feature to work on the 7610. The phone and the PDA connect okay via Bluetooth, the telephone number starts to be dial but almost straight away is rejected. I've also tried another dialup account.

Can anyone help? Have I got the Baud rate wrong? Perhaps some setting in the phone is defaulting to an alternative dialup mechanism such as GPRS? Is there a better way to connect a PDA to the Internet?

Nick

The problem was due to the historical settings on my Orange account from my previous phone. Having got through to third line support (very good people) who diagnosed the problem I then had to go back through first to second line support who provided my phone with a series of SIM updates to cure the problem.
