Hi,
Kelkoo is a price comparison engine.
It will bring you to www.rueducommerce.fr which offer imported P800 only with an english UI and doc. 😉
oups .. that's right.
The link i gave in not valid anymore.
The correct one is : http://www.rueducommerce.fr/telephonie/showdetl.cfm?product_id=5241
Sorry to say that, but this is stupid.
P800 was not released yet and it's real price is not known. We'll all have to wait for SE to officially release the product. Then the price will be known.
Buying demo versions, for enormous prerelease price of 1130 is plain stupid. If the real price will be so high, it won't sell and me personally would go for a handheld and a mid range GSM phone.
I think they don't really sell the phone but it's just vapourware, forcing some geek-sick to cash out their "tax on stupidity". 😉

I will tell you within 5 - 10 days....
if it is a pre release...I have just bought one 😊 😃 😃
Don't say I'm stupid, I have 15 days to return the product if I'm not satisfied 😉
I just expect that this pre release version (I guess it is) has a MMS duo extension

Good luck dude!
Bruno, does "just bought one" mean you actually have it or you just paid for it and have to wait for, let's say - certain amount of time - for delivery?
Anyway, good luck.

p.s.: and whatever you say it definitely is prerelease since it hasn't been officialy launched yet

If the user has a rating of 0 then it always is. Email the guy and ask to meet him, if he's real he'll agree to it.
DONT DO IT.
I TRIED IT AND LOST $100 AS A PRE-PAYMENT.
I AM A REAL SCHMUCK FOR FALLING FOR SUCH A SCAM (IT WAS AT THE TIME WHEN THE P800 WAS MEANT TO BE RELEASED AND I DIDNT DO MY HOMEWORK)
IN SPITE OF MY PRIDE/EGO/WALLET BEING DENTED, I THOUGHT YOU SHOULD LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE.
"HELLO!
Yes I have the P800.The price is 350 pounds. In this price is including shipping taxess for delivery your adress. The phone is sim feee, unlocked all networks and comes in original box with all accesories. If you want to buy i`ll waith your e-mail."
mmm, got this email from an enquiry i made. the spelling's probably a giveaway that this guy is retarded or something + the price he wants. but he has an aol.com email address - does that mean he's traceable if he tries to screw me? also not going to pay by bankers draft, postal order, western union etc. hope to do escrow? I'm going to get ripped off if i go for it aren't i? but i want ooooooonnnnnnnnnnneeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!
damn it!!!
The fist is there - waiting for anyone. If you go for your fair share of punch on your nose, you deserve it. 😉
You'll get your P800 sooner or later, and one day in the future you'll throw it away as old and ugly. So what's the point of loosing your mind for another few weeks. Wait until it is officially released and get one. Otherwise you'll either get ripped or you'll get some weird beta model.
damn it, you're right.
insanity has clouded my mind. it just feels like there's a hole in my life that the p800 can fill.......probably. 😉
damn SE for making such a product!
in all seriousness, i'm phoneless - my previous one got urinated on (don't ask), i'm not sure how much longer i can hold out - i might have to get a 7650 but i know i'll regret it!
If you are doing it by Escrow, then you should be safe.
Otherwise forget it.

Yes he was a muppet. this is the email I just sent him, notice in his email he needed the money so fast he didn't have time to sign his name! boy he must be desperate!!! 😉

Really? How much money do you need? Are you in trouble? Maybe I can help? I'm a wealthy nigerian business man. I need someone to look after 4,000,000USD for me for 'tax' reasons. If you do this for me, you may keep 10% for yourself after 72 days have past. Please send your bank account details so I can transfer the money ASAP.
Regards.

😃 If you didn't get screwed with this one, i'd eat my cat! 😃
Only problem you have now, is that he is probably so annoyed about not making any money out of you that he is adding your email address to every spam and porn site he can find.
Had that happen to me (I think) after some dodgy character on ebay wanted me to send him my phone after paying me by Credit Card through eBay. Only problem, eBay doesn't cover you unless you ship to the address they send you. There is a nasty clause saying that if the transaction turns out to be fraudulant, they can take all the money back.
This guy was registered with one name and address in the US with eBay, another name and address in the US for the credit card payment system and wanted me to ship the goods to a totally different name and address in a different country.
When I said I was not prepared to ship unless he sent some kind of ID or something, he was real upset. Anyway, I assured him that I would cancel the transaction through eBay and his card would be refunded in full.
Would this guy give up ? No, he then says that his eBay account is closed, so he won't be able to get a refund and wanted me to send him payment in cash to the unvarified address.
Anyway, next thing you know I start getting dubious emails from XXX sites and have to explain to my wife that it's not because I've been visiting them.
I should point out that I/ebay did refund the money to the original credit card (whoever it actually belonged to).
Moral of the story in this case is actually SELLER Beware.
