Handset Sound Problem

1 replies · 1,274 views · Started 27 August 2004

I was listening to mp3's on my oggplayer on my n6600 when i accidentally pulled out the earpiece of my headset.

Since then i have been unable to hear anything from the earpiece on my handset. It was still showing that my headset was still plugged in after i had removed it. I switched the phone on/off, and the headset sign went away but i was unable to hear anything from the handset's earpiece.

I can still hear my phone ring and stuff. But if ppl call me i cant hear them with or without the headset cos it now isnt being detected. It wont even allow me to switch to the loudspeaker.

Help.ASAP.pls

I will be sending to phone in to get it checked out.

I tried reformatting the mmc to see if it worked,no luck however.

I read you can reformat the phone's memory is that so? Guess i'd try anythin bout now. How would i do it? i tried searchin the forum,no success.

Is there any warnings b4 i would do a full phone reformat? My phone is basically empty now after reformating my mmc, but would my menu all remain the same after the phone reformat? I know i will lose all my contacts, anythin else?

thx
