OT: Ever fancied studying at MIT?

MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) started to a new site MIT OpenCourseWare) for remote learning.

Over the course of time, all courses (materials, etc.) of all the departments should / will be available for anybody and for free. At the moment it is only in pilot stage, but it looks rather promising.

"MIT OpenCourseWare reflects the commitment of the MIT faculty to advancing education by increasing access to their academic materials through the Internet and the World Wide Web." MIT basically would like to go back to the roots of the idea of the Internet!

I thought pictures of naked women were the idea of the internet.
You know, "nothing has ever looked this good on an ASCII terminal before" 😊

Thanks for the link, upponalle! I saw a couple of interesting topics already
and I really appreciate that they are planning to keep it free. This kind of
thing takes a lot of $ to set up.
