When I got my phone I also wanted to reset the phone counters, and it asked for a PIN2, I hadn't set one so I tried a few combinations and was succesful with the code 12345 so try that before you go to any service centers. YOu can change the code from 12345 in the settings jobby.
The topic is locked, so here is my PIN2 solution.

Careful there! Not all SIMs have PIN2 set as 12345! It is best if you contact your operator to find out the PIN2 set for your SIM.
You should also realise that three wrong PIN2 entries will give you nothing but 10 PUK2 requests, just like your regular PIN.
