OK I'm gonna cut the crap and go straight to the business, I had a 3650 which I sold but before I made a total backup with Nokia 3650 PC Suite through bluetooth. Everything fine here. Now I've bought an N-Gage (old one, hate QD :P) and I want to restore that backup to the N-Gage, not sure if it's possible but thought it would be since both use the same OS even though the versions are different. Now I've tried to put the whole 3650 backup folder on the place of where the n-gage one should be but it was effortless I even tried to use the Nokia 3650 PC Suite connected to the N-Gage so that I could retrieve all the data to the phone as if the n-gage was a 3650 but it was effortless too, it just said that the phone model wasn't correct. So what I'm asking is if there any way to get at least my address book and my message inbox.

I never made a backup myself 😛 I only copy the contacts and calender database files 😊
Now I suppose you never synced your device because otherwiser there wouldn't be a problem.
I guess the easiest way is to get a friends 3650, backup his stuff, install your backup, get your calender and contacts file from that device and copy to N-Gage.
That is if the backup file/folder doesn't hold these files themselves ...
Once you got the contacts.db file and calender.db file you probably will be albe to copy these files to the right location with fExplorer; if the system sais somthing about the files not being able to be replaced, start a backup on the N-Gage while it's doing that, copy the files (backup should close all apps and give you acces to those files for a short while)
