We just upgraded to Outlook 2003 and now reoccuring calendar events will not sync. They will sync if we create new reoccuring events or change and save the existing events. Anyone else having this problem? Maybe a firmware upgrade on the SX1? We are using Activesync 3.7.1. Everything worked with Outlook 2000
SX1 will not sync reoccuring calendar events in Outlook 2003
ActiveSync (any version) will not work with the SX1, only Microsoft OS based phones.
What are you really using? Have you also checked Siemens' web site for the latest version of whatever PC-connectivity/-synchronization software they offer with the SX1?
While at it, get the latest firmware, too. 😉
If it still doesn't work, you could also try asking Siemens' customer support.
I'm almost positive the user is using ActiveSync, but I will check today to verify. Thanks!
I can't believe it....it's actually a Siemens SX56...big difference. I'm working from an email and finally have some better info. She is using Activesync with a Siemens SX56. Well, the phone is a Microsoft Windows CE/PocketPC device, not Symbian OS. Try taking it up with Siemens' customer support (or Microsoft's), or try a Microsoft forum like http://www.modaco.com/ or http://www.pocketpcthoughts.com/.
