Original N-Gage?

After hearing about the QD, I think the original is better in every way except battery. Does the original support up to 320kbps Mp3's? Is there any problems in using a 512mb or 1gb MMC card in the NGage?

Would it be Ok to have around 100 songs on it in a folder, or does this cause a problem with the Fat16 system?

I don't suppose a better battery could be bought for the original Ngage (its not like it can use the QD battey can it?)

I Doubt you'd hear much difference between a 128/196kbps MP3 and a 320kbps one using the N-Gage music player. It is definitely OK for music playback, but not THAT good...

As for MMC compatibility, check this topic: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/forum//forum/thread/19910/

I don't have that many songs stored myself so I'm not completely sure, but I don't think it would cause any problems other than a long waiting period to open the Music player app.

You can't get a higher capacity battery for the N-Gage unfortunately. The QD battery will work on the original, but it is physically bigger, so you wont be able to close the back cover.

The music player can handle a maximum of 256 songs...
And for god sake use 128kbps 😊 3OO is just overkill and lost storage space 😊
