If anyone is having problems installing epocware software, I think I have found out why. Their software is not localised for the USA market. I have had similar problems with other software and the developers have localised the app for USA only and they installed great after that. This is only my deductions, but I think this is a solution that should be looked in to.
Please let them know at www.epocware.com that you are having a problem installing their software. The response I received from them was a little disappointing:
"Thanks for the suggestion and for you idea that may lead to the
problem with installation our programs on an USA phone. Unfortunately
we have no time to create the special version for you now (sorry) but
we will do it (with our help of course) when we become free.
Try to find another PC with Windows OS, install PC Suite for Nokia
6600."
Again, please let them know you are having problems (be nice) and that they should make the time to get their software to work for the US market.
