7610 versions

When I got mine the other day, I was offered the box with the lady on with o2, vodaphone and T-Mobile (my eventual settle) and when I asked about Orange they showed the other box your talking about.

I think it's just style. My take is that the 'lady' box contains the 'classic' style silver phone, and the other box contains the red and black phone. Could just be a case of differing covers that come with the phone.

there is not so much difference
well abt nokia, its has several production units
no if it is china, germany, hungry or any othe u never know bcoz there is writen MADE BY NOKIA

well abt the ques i have ask u abt abroad
well i offenly travelling abrod
there are 2 version on is Asian and other is Europe version

made by nokia is manily asian version and at some times only some time some network in other continent not in asia does not give complete compatblity

Hi vicky, i really appreciate u replying. but now i am really confused. im having difficulty understanding wot u r trying to say! should i buy the asian one? i mean the one which is made/assembled in china? yes i m getting warranty for 15 months. will there be any difference in the softwares? i mean opera n all will be there right? n i've heard dat with the asian version u get a 128 card! how can dat b ven the asian version is cheaper? yes i did travel abroad to malaysia n it was cheap there n i think they also had the same china one. i dont know wot to do!

and opera,ulead mstyle and some more things

The differences come from what firmware is flashed onto it (principally which language variants & what kind of sales package box it is, including variations in manuals, warranty cards, etc.), and who they're sold to (who ordered them), which governs pre-installed applications (built-in or on memory card), settings, other operator customization and such.

It seems that the first batches of any model Nokia first tends to build in Finland, and the following batches closer to where they are sold/ordered.
