Nokia 6600 bluetooth modem probs

I can't seem to get my Nokia 6600 to work properly as an internet modem. I have this bluetooth adapter

On my pc I open up dial up networking, then dial *99# and it connects me to the T-mobile network. Then the connection seems to drop randomly, it just dissapears from my taskbar and doesn't throw any error. According to the phone I'm still connected. I have to either reboot the phone or wait about 15 minutes until I connect to the phone again.

Any idea whats going on?

I am having the exact problem when using my N6600 with a Sony Vaio using that same bluetooth dongle (I purchased it a long time ago under a different brand).

I think the problem is however with the dongle and supporting software and not with the phone. I can use the phone to connect to an IPAQ 5455 and browse all day without any problems whatsoever.

I am planning on getting another dongle to see if the problem persists. I will keep you posted.
