A friend of mine has a problem with his 7650. Whenever he tries to switch on bt he gets the error messsage "Unable to perform bluetooth operation". What can we do to help him solve this prb? The bt worked before.
Bt Problem
I think the only way to fix that is to have a Nokia service center reflash the phone.

I get this message on my 7650 when the phones memory is too full (in my case with photos)
Freeing up some memory normally does the trick straight away.
I don't know if this is of any use to you, but I woke up this morning and had the same problem with my Nokia 6260 (bt was working fine before). I had left my laptop online all night and the phone had been connected to it for ages. Then in the morning I got the same message your friend got when I tried to switch my Bluetooth back on, "Unable to perform Bluetooth operation".
I freed up some space on my phone memory, but that didn't help. Then I switched off my phone, removed the bluetooth dongle from my laptop, switched the phone back on. When I tried to switch bluetooth back on on the phone it worked fine! After that I put the dongle back in and everything was ok again. It seems like a bit of resetting was simply required for me...
