Hi, I have my 7610 for about a week, and I have some questions qbout it:

1. I have my volume one high, but when I play digital sounds (like mp3) the sound starts at really low volume, that takes about 10 seconds, and then the volume succenly gets normal (high volume). I had this same problem with my samsung c100, anyone know what could be causing this, and how I can fix it?

2. I have downloaded alot of games for my phone, but I want to test em first (see if I like em) before I put em on my phone. Is there a way to play the games (.jar and .sis format) on my computer. Maybe an emulator or something??

3. Some games I have on my phone ocasionally get stuck when I try to close em. I am fored to "reboot" my phone to be able to restart em. Is this a problem with my phone, or does this happen ocasionally with 3rd party apps?

Thanx in advance!

hi, i aint got a clue abt ur 1st Q!! i dont tink you can try games on computer! as i hav not found any emulator!! and 3rd question, it hasnt happened to anyone i know who ownes the 7610! it might not be your phone but it might be the games that are causing the porblems!

Pity you dont know about the sound, its eally annoying, and since I had the same prob with my samsung c100 I thought i was a known problem with enhanced sound.

And about the games: I might be an incompatibilitie proble or something. I downloadedabout 100 games from kazaa, zipped in a packagethat said something like symbian s60 games and then a few phone types. Maybe the game (bubble puzzle I believe it was called) is just not 100% compatible with my phone

You're right about kazaa, every package of games I downloaded had that mosquito.sis virus in it (the one that looks like a game, but sends messages to high cost numbers after installation). Good thing my norton antivirus was paying attention when I extracted em: the screenshot of the game looked good, I would have installed it right away :-s

That site you provided doesnt seem to work by the way, I can get there but they seem to have some internal problems. Will try again in a few days

The mosquito virus was not a virus. They discovered that it was an early version of the game which had code in so that if you had nicked it and it didn't match up with the IMEI or something, they charged you via text message, they had to take it out cos it was illegal to charge that way or something, but somebody got hold of an early copy of the game. Funny as ya like.
