Anyone having trouble Syncing Email?

I have finally got around to syncing my new X with Outlook 2002.

Contacts and Calendar syncing seemed to work perfectly and were suprisingly fast(although I was only doing a one way upload, not a real sync) but email just wouldn't do anything.

I tried email several times but every time I got "The Email synchronisation has failed - Error 0x1". The first time it also said something about "the Symbian email server is not responding".

Has anyone else come across this problem? If so does anyone have any suggestions for a fix? I am really pissed about this as email syncing is one of the big reasons for me to have a smartphone rather than a simpler S65.

i don't have that problem, but i suggest you reinstall PC connect. (delete pc connect, reboot, then reinstall)

and setup your email account in the phone (what i did)

then retry the sync.
Tell me what it does.

i found that syncing works better on the beta though, so the upcoming firmware should also solve problems like yours.
