Can u use a Unlocked Nokia 7610 in North America

I was wondering if i bought a unlocked Nokia 7610 from say austraila or something would i be able to get it hooked up in North America by a provider??????

Yes, as long as the provider is a GSM provider and has a 1900MHz GSM network (it will not work in a 850MHz North American GSM network; for that you need a different phone).
