Anyone know a way to do this?
I want to send a friend agile messenger via Bluetooth, but cant see a way to xfer aplpications. Is thier an app that lets you xfer apps?

Is agile messenger a pre installed program on your phone? If not, then send the Installer (*.*sis file) if you still have it. Thing is, like in computers theres a Packed program like a setup.exe that will extract all the other contents to the destination, in your case the phone, so u cant send those files one by one or even if you can, some files are extracted somewhere else and is rather unadvisable.
So get the installer of the program or download it again then have it sent by BT dongle to your phone or Card reader or IR port, dont delete the installer then use a file manager to browse and send the installer to the recepient.
copyrighted files such as installer files can't be transfered via BT (no IR for 7610). what you can do is rename the file extension then send. for example: from "agile.sis" to "agile.sid". when you have tranfered the file to the other device rename it again to .sis then, install.

Have you tried it? I suggest you try it first as I have tried doing it from a 3660 to a 3650 and I cant find any reason why it cant be done. As long as theres a send option it most likely is possible to send it via bluetooth Using a file manager of course. UNLESS 36xxs symbian is different from the 7610 having what you are saying, "copyright" thingy. But as long as you have a file manager, you transfered the sis file through a BT Dongle or IR, came in as a message its possible to send it by BT.

Now i understand your basis for saying this as I read in fexplores site.... http://users.skynet.be/domi/tipstricks.html that its an issue with some firmwares that it cant send copyrighted stuffs. But I assure you there are ways around this using other programs like seleq which is the one I based my judgement on.

I am now using 7610(o.s. 7.x) from my last month's 3660(6.2). you can't trasfer .app and .sis from 7610 to another phone. if you haven't tried it, now is time. seleQ doesnt work on 7610. this is from experience!!! haha!!!
