Bluetooth always connects Nokia 6600 to COM0

People have mentioned this before but I haven't really found the answer. Bluetooth always connects Nokia 6600 to COM port 0. I have tried ignoring the error message and sometimes, after several attempts, it will be recognised by Nokia PC Suite but not by anything else such as Oxygen. I removed the Bluetooth software (with Logitech Cordless Desktop MX Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard and Mouse) and installed a generic dongle but exactly the same thing happens.

Has anyone worked it out or at least a way to get around it?

Mine says it connects on COM0, but when I check on mRouter, it actually connects on COM3, it seems to work tho..
Oxygen however, I have to DISABLE mRouter, use the phone app to create the bluetooth connection, then the PC program will see the phone.

Hope this helps.

Andy.

Double click the grey m router icon in the taskbar and disable the ports enabled for connection.

😊

I too had same problem but as it says its connected to Com0 but on mRouter its some other port, what i found out was the port shown in mRouter was already in use by some other app. in my case my modem when boot my PC with Modem swithed off there was no problem and PC Suite Works absoulutely fine

Well I still don't seem able to work it out. The bubble in the tray says the phone is connected but when I click the m-router it doesn't seem to be there and My Blootooth Places says its not connected!
