2 Problems with my 7610 already...

Hi people, was just wondering if anyone could help me on the 2 problems I have?

- First is my own fault, i formatted my memory card on the first night of owning the phone, eventhough it was already formatted (woops), and ofcourse this deleted many things from the memory car, for example the "welcome installer" , kodak and HP printer applications, etc etc...really pissed off with myself for doing this, and was just wondering if theres any way i can get these back? (ive checked a few download sites and cant find the app's).

- Second, after installing Pc suite, i tried to install the DKU-2 usb cable and its drivers, however it needed my XP to have service pack 1 installed first. I have now installed this, and now the USB cable driver and software has been installed (somewhere :con? ) but i cant seem to get the nokia pc suite to recognise i have my 7610 plugged in!? Therefore i cant upload/download etc etc...

Only had the phone a few days, and although im really happy with it these problems are getting me down :frown: , can anyone help !?

Anything appreciated.
Cheers,Chris.

I had the same problem with the PC Suite. Make sure you have Suite 6.2.

Uninstall the current suite and the Nokia Connectivity Driver (listed uner Add/Remove programs).

The 1st thing I did was then re-install the Cable driver 1st(get the new one from nokia downloads section). Then install the PC suite.

Then hook up the phone to the cable. This worked fro me.

Make sure you also have the cbale ticked as one of the possible connection options (Connections button on sync dialog I think)
