there is an application called smart launcher, that use skins to change the folder icons. but i really don't recommend smart launcher because it fills the phone memory and kills you slooooowly... :icon13: :icon13: :icon13:

thanks drager, I do know SmartLauncher. As you said, it consumes many system resource, furthermore it does not surpport Chinese, btw I am from China. So I mean, is there any way to customize manually? Or do you know how SmartLauncher works?

I have installed that icon package, it seems to create a shortcut in MMC with same UID as the app on disk Z, then define a new icon for the shortcut. But where is the original folder icon defined, I can not find out.

The folder icon of ngage can be changed, but requires scripting. it is integarted with the Palet. But some guys at the site that Kamalayan suggested have claimed that they have nearly mastered the scripting. And soon it will be possible.

on my QD, sysiconz doesnt change recorder, apps, vidplayer, & serv nos icons. :frown:
