I recently heard abt the helix player .. saw a post here on that too .. but says it has 4 installation files n r quiet huge ..
Well the reson y m searchin for an upgrade to my real player (ver 3.1.406 b) is that i cant tend to play a .rm music video ... guess the video is kinda not indexed properly or sumthing .. cause i tried convertin it to .avi or .mpg .. but the video lags so does the audio .. so to play that file .. my player says file too large ... its 2 MB :con? and i played files that r 6MB .. so whats teh problem ?
aww and if i have to d'load helix player .. i went here https://symbian.helixcommunity.org/preview.html .. registered and resent the confirmation 10 times .. lol i still havent got it ... i need helix player to check it out .. any one got ne ideas ??? :con?

got the player .. 3 files and each so huge ... lol .. its kinda ok tho ... but 3gp video lags .. (stops n playes) .. newayz .. uninstallation is a pain too screwes up the phone .. lol only thing to do is format and reinstall .. this sux 😡

:tongue: why is that so? I just install that player, but i read from the manual. Whenever you need to uninstall the Helix player, You need to uninstall 2 times. The first time you will face a fail error message. Then the second time will clean up all for you!
I play the files with helix. Look nice and okay. Please take note that some 3gps file setting is variants from each others. It's will okay if you just use one setting! My 3gps files all look neat! I just wait for the latest version to be released. Because I want it AAC support for me N6600!

I encounter this Video too big problem before. The different may be you are using multiple pc to do your converting. If the pc you do converting is slow! Then even your convert setting is correct. The converted media file may be having errors at last. Try to use fast computers, like Pentium 4 or 3 are good enough.
Another possibilities is your converting setting. Some converter itself has error too, so, the first time you convert. you may face no problem. But in the second attend, it gives you junk files! 😊 well, that is my experience about converting. May be i should change my converter application. 😊
