The MMC on my Nokia 3660 is locked and i have forgotten the password...I tried opening the mmcstore file through notepad and this is what it reads... " , AF MMC #��� k m s 0 0 9 " ....i tried the kms009, Kms009, KMS009 but thats not working.... please suggest.

Hi, I know this question has been posted loads of times already but they were from a while ago and I thought there may be ways of fixing it now.
I forgot the password to my MMC and in the process of trying to fix it, I deleted the MMCstore file, which I now realise contains the password info. I do have a card reader on my PC but it just says "please insert disk into drive" preseumably because the MMC has the password on it. I've tried formatting it on my phone but it didn't help.
If anyone has any answers oor solutions to this problem I would be very grateful

The answer hasn't changed: If you've lost the password and also the mmcstore file (due to reformatting, for example), all you can do is to buy a new card and restore the old card's last backup (hoping you have made one).
A data recovery service such as http://www.ibas.com might be able to do something, but you'd have to have very valuable data on the card, because it is likely to cost a bundle (and they won't be able to guarantee that anything can actually be recovered, but still charge for the attempt).
