Ok so i have read the info on the mp3's on the QD but when i use mp3 to wav conerters it makes like a 2.52MB file i have looked in to all the settings and cannot find anything can someone help me with making smaller files?

use goldwave, its the best audio tool i have ever seen. It can convert files in numerous formats. And each format has numerous sub options. For mp3 to wave i have used GSM 6 wav format. try it.
