I noticed that once I'm connected to my HDW-3 Bluetooth earpiece, my 6600 does not ring out loud anymore.
There are times when I'd like to just leave the earpiece on the table and if the phone were to ring, only then would I put it on to take the call, but with the bluetooth, it doesn't ring anymore.
Any idea how I can do it?
Thanks
There is nothing you can do about it on your own.
Unless Nokia has done something about it in whatever is the latest firmware version for the phone (5.27.0 currently, it seems), there is no solution.
This thread links to a 5.27.0 firmware fixes description that claims "Ringtones and warning tones routed to both Bluetooth accessories and intergraded handsfree in terminal side".
I don't have 5.27 on my 6600 so I can't verify to its accuracy, but should you wish to find out, take/send your phone to your nearest Nokia authorized service center and ask them to upgraded your phone to 5.27
Thanks for the info... will try to update to 5.27 and see what happens

I keep seeing this new upgrade quoted but can anyone confirm if it is offically available in the UK.
Hi there
I have a 6600 with 3.48.0 and the same problem with the HDW-3
I tested witn my n-gage V.3.30 and the same problem happens. when the headset bluetooth is connected with this two phones only the head set rings.
By the way .... Does anyone know a software aplication that can "say" the name on the headset bluetooth when receaving a call before the phone starts to ring (like sony-ericsson when has a voice dial tag)
