Hi guys,
I read somewhere in the forum that sLauncher (Smart launcher) kills the phone slowly.... is it true... i mean I am really bowled over by the app but I dont wanna fuckin mess up my QD coz I love it..... I have slauncher installed on the MMC (256 NCP model), so will it damage my phone or MMC.. I do not find it making my phone slow or whatever.. all it does is make my QD look cool.. yeah....
I also read up on the forum that if I wanna browse through the net on my QD i better have a MMC installed.. not that i dont have one, but just for curiosity, what happens if I dont have one...the MMC i mean 😉

As I know, it is the cracked smart launcher that is harmful to phones so as long as you got the program legally I don't think there would be any problem. As for the mmc, it's the first time I heared about it. But I think what it means is that your internet browsing would be a little faster if you installed the internet browser app (if you have one like OPERA) on your mmc instead of the phone memory because it would free up your phone memory and should make it run faster.

Don't know where you read those things, but do not believe every comment you read to be true. People (kids) will often just post anything that pops up into their minds, and those who know better wont always be around (or even bother) to correct these morons.

What you probably read about is wildskinz. Conflicts with some programs.
Slauncher is a application which continuously runs in background, thus some resources of ur phone are eaten up. If in such situation u execute a program which it self is high on resourses, then ur phone might have some problems. Also chances of 2 softwares clashing r also high.
As for the net and mmc relation, it quiet straight forward. While u surf the net, browsers like opera etc.. download some temp files. these files are designed for pc and are considerably big as compared to the 4 mb internal mem. Eventually these files will cause ur mem. to be full. This is like knocking on the door of WSOD (phone will be dead, due to insufficient free mem). and the problem is u never realise that u r dumping files in mem. So avoid surfing net on phone if u don't have MMC
