Hi,
well thought I'll jump on to this Forum since I'll will be getting a Sendo X for myself.
But I do have one or two Questions for yall X experience users!
First off all how well does the Sendo X Sync with a Mac using iSync?
Apple does mentioned it will Sync the Address Book with Address Images
and the Calendar with it's To Do Items with the X.
Maybe somebody can drop a line or two how well it work or if not.
Second will it also Sync using the USB or is Bluetooth the only way to go?
What are the experience of using third party Software on this guy?
"Oh yeah does the GoBoy work with the X?"
Well I guess I'll be back on here when I get some more Question or hey, maybe I can
even help out :icon14:
Thanks in advance...
Shaggy
1) The un-official answer for iSync is yes. I thin kAddress Book entries and Contacts sync
2) It will PC Suite sync with USB, I suspect (and this is only a hunch) that iSync will be bluetooth only.
3) GoBoy (and anything labelled Series 60/N-Gage/6600 etc) will work
maybe you could explain why you think 3 is untrue?
N-gage games are obviously encrypted so thats obvious. However, nearly all s60 apps should work fine assuming they have been coded correctly. I'm going to install go boy on my X later today and let you know how it goes.
Hi,
I installed Goboy and it works fine. 😊)) Its SWEET!
so you're saying ngage is possible with Go boy ?
do you need sis files for it or just the blz ?

Goboy has nothing to do with Ngage games but you can run some of them on Sendo X. I tried Sonix X and Puyo Pop and they work perfect but only for testing purposes as it is illigal, ofcourse 😊
However, there's been some confusion with GoBoy, and here's the tricky part; Only the free version of GoBoy will work! GoBoy Plus won't work on X!!!
I hope that helps!
but... what is goboy then? :con?
4give me my noobyness

GoBoy is a software which emulates GameBoy games on the S60 platform!
Basically, you can play GameBoy and GameBoy colour games on your Sendo X.
The GoBoy Plus includes full sound support but unfortunatelly it wont work on X- at least not on mine! U can still use the free version though, u just wont have any sound!

1 and 2: http://www.apple.com/isync/devices.html
It seems from what I have seen that most stuff designed to run on the 7650, 3650, or SX1 will run on the Sendo X. Software that uses the new features/APIs in Symbian 7 (i.e. designed for 6600 or 7610) might not work.
Yes, for what I see in the Sendo forums, this is the problem!
It sounds even logical that Sendo's Symbian 6.1 is not compatible with Sy 7.0 applications!
Well, let's hope some of these probs can be fixed with a firmware update! (Any idea on when will it be released!??)
Hi,
well got my Sendo X yesterday, as a Present for B-Day.
It's pretty 😎 iSync works lovely. Except for the one issue that I can't (not sure why)
send SMS or Dial from my Mac.
There are something I'm wondering, sometimes when I move around the Screen it
flickers (like a redraw) is this normal?
Also where can I explore and move files on and around from/to my MMC.
Thanks for the Help
Shaggy
Ops forgot something,
what does the P1 stand for on the Top of the Screen (next to the Signal Symbol)?
I didn't fin this Symbol or Icon in the Manual.
Shaggy
PROFILE 1 = P1 (general)
silent will be for example PROFILE 2 => P2 😉
Roger that, thanks :icon14:
Does this thing has any other hidden features 😃
Shaggy
@Shaggy Yes, you can see the screen refreshing. Some smoothness is missing here 😃
And yes again, like I said it in another thread: It seems, that the half of software will dont work on the Sendo X. I can say that, because I tested 32 apps and 15 of them are working fine.
One problem may be the sound driver. The half of the apps which were not running, were indicating a dispute with the sound server (media-)...
Nevertheless, I was learning to love my Sendo during the last week. For example, did anyone tested the voice control? Crazy like that work, without settings and trainings before, you can dial ALL contacts! And furthermore, the Now!-Screen is super.
So we can hope, that there is really coming a new firmware, which fixes a part of the faults :top:

Cool, yeah I don't notice it anymore.
I do have some Question about Browsing and Moving files around.
I received a Message with a Sound via Bluetooth, how can I move the Sound on to
a Folder in my MMC and maybe use this as a Ring?
The Phone is Cool but I think the Manual is pretty week, no?

Can anyone tell me if these two bluetooth devices will talk to each other? Bluetooth has always been mysterious voodoo. My Razr, nor V600 won't talk to the car kit, Ericsson headset won't talk to nokia phones. Isn't bluetooth profiling supposed to be Universal? Can maybe any company actually do their job completely?
