I have a really annoying problem with my 6600. The speaker makes a "clicking sound" after each sound file is played, and that means between every ring sound if the sound is turned on when someone calls. Extremely annoying.
I also noticed that the startup jingle tune (the animation with the hands) never really finishes properly, and is always interrupted by the very same click or pop sound.
Even when the phone is only on vibration mode with no ringing, the speaker makes these sounds after every "vibration cycle". Sounds like the speaker is being reset, turned off or on or something. This has to be a bug? I mean, playing samples on the speaker should not be a hard task for a modern device of this calibre?
Anyway, have anyone else experienced this problem? I've got firmware version 4.x, and I don't know if the new 5.x is available here (Norway) yet. Will this new version fix this? I have read that the opening jingle bug is fixed, so could this be it?

I Have The Same But i solve it by setting autolock from the sim and phone menu in settings so any time I turned my phone ON it well ask me for the password then the hand shaking with the tone well be as normal

I have similar thing. Not just the handshaking animation - in many occasions, for example: I can't hear the camera sound when taking pictures: it just cranks like it is starting up the speaker but the sound finishes already so it cracks more when switching the speaker off. So in fact - when I take photos I just hear an annoying crack instead of the classic camera sound.
Any patches for this?
I have the same bug on my 6600!!! I mentioned this a while ago but got no reaction.
When I bought my 6600 almost 1 year ago I immediately went back to the store where I bought. I explained what the problem was. At first they laughed at me because they did not notice it. But after explaining my frustration with this bug they replaced the phone anyway. When I got back home I noticed this bug was still present! So I assumed it was a firmware problem. Last week I sent my 6600 to a Nokia service centre, so I hope the problem will be solved with the new firmware. I'll let you know in a few days when I get it back.
