Im not sure what sort of abuse the section received,so im guessing it was a case of the themes being completely vulgar or even illegal material used as images (in which case,who wants it on their phone?)
I have said this before,but will say it again for the benefit of people searching the site,most of the adult themes at symbian themes.com were just an image on the idle screen,this can be done by assigning a wallpaper to any theme,and in doing this you can have the best of both worlds,a nice well made theme with the adult image of your choice!
Now the Adult section has been removed,the whole site is being bombarded with adult themes,which myself,and many others are completely not interested in,this was once classed as a banning offence!
I agree....I used to pull up themes while at work...now I can't do that at risk any of the sections I pull up will have porn in them...where is the moderator?
The moderator has been very busy! Symbian Themes Iteration 1 is going to go permanently offline within the next week or two, replaced with Iteration 2 which will have tighter adult content control.
I totally agree with your commenst & I already warned about this situation months ago. Now again you cannot open the site with your kids with you, it's softer than previously that's for sure. And as Elton said the vast majority of us are not interrested by this kind of Themes.
