while reding some reviews they say its having RS-MMC and reading Nokia.com its contains that it have MMC
can any one clear me.

yes i know RS MMC is used in place of MMC.
but MMc is not used in place of RS-MMC

thats why i was doubtful it is haveing RS MMC or MMC.

flim flam...
MMC or RS MMC it doesnt matter!
the real question is, wil it be able to support SD???
since Nokia has already purchased the license to support SD then why not start with the best line... ehem.. "The 9500!"

or is it already ready? hmm...
bother! if not! a firm ware shud do it... hopefully!

BTW, nce knowin u VICKY!😉

No SD support, and not via firmware either I guess, since the SD is physically thicker, and would probably not fit the 9500's mmc card slot

wel, it wudnt hurt to dream of it!😊

i wonder wats gona be d 1st Nokia unit to be invoked d SD support....

well u can read the following
"Nokia announced today (15 September 2004 ) that they have applied for membership in the SD Card Association. Membership would allow them to make use of the SD memory card format in their handsets and other devices. Nokia plans to continue to make use of the MMC format that they currently use, but says that they will add SD support in future devices.

Unlike the MMC format, which is free, the SD Card Association requires royalties for the use of their system.
Nokia has not stated when it expects to release its first SD compatible device"

thanks for the link up, bt dats the same statement i read. Thus why i wondered as to what NOKIA unit wud be SD capable... 😊

chill!😊
