Need HELP!! Transfer all data from 6600 to 7610 on Mac? — S60 (Series 60)

Hello all! 😊

I am new here, and I have a query.

I have been using a Nokia 6600 for a year and now I have bought a Nokia 7610.

My problem is transferring all my data from 6600 to 7610.

Because I use a Mac (OS X 10.3), I can't use the provided PC Suite for Nokia, even if I use the 'Virtual PC Windows 98' on my Mac.

I need HELP!!!!!!!!! I need some sort of software that'll back up all the data from my 6600 and then I can restore that to my 7610.

If nothing works, I will have to transfer all my gallery items (pics, music, vids, etc.) and all my contacs and notes and even my calendar items manually :frown: But the thing that worries me the most is the Messages. I want my Inbox and my Sent Items folder to be copied to the 7610. I know there has to be a way to do this. Please help me out here someone, u ppl are the experts 😃

Your problem is known as a "mac-smack". Find someone with a PC and ask him/her for some help? That will teach you for being all geeky and buying a mac.

I'm moving from a 7650 to a 7610 myself (on a mac).

You won't be able to move your SMS messages, and this is the same on a PC (you could try and transplant them across, but I think that's more trouble than it's work) - I just used MsgSaver to back them all up to a txt file.
As for your items, you'll probably just have to bluetooth them to your mac and then to the 7610.
