After upgrading my firmware of my N-gage QD from 3.15 to 4.0, the screen is alot darker with all the graphic having bad contrast. Game playing on it is harder and more different due to the change to a much darker and bad contrast. Is this normal or is there is fix for it. I prefer the older version of the firmware to the new one. Can my firmware be changed back to the older user-friendly version? Or is this a bug of the new firmware?
The brightness control does not improve the situation.

after upgrading to version 4.0, the resolution became worse!
yes, you may changed it back to 3.15 and the resolution will be restored. 😊

Got a QD yesterday and also noticed that the contrast is a bit on the dark side. They guy I bought it got it updated to 4.0. Is there any difference between this and the older frimware?
Holy crap, we already have three threads just on this subject!
Anyways, the 4.00 firmware was dimmed (a screw up by Nokia) so they released a newer firmware 4.10 that fixes it.

Is 4.10 the latest firmware upgrade? I'll have to get it updated then.
