using 7650 as a bridge between laptop and PC

I want to connect my laptop to the internet via my 7650 and broadband connection as follows:
laptop >>IRDA>> 7650 >>BT>> PC >>BROADBAND>>>>>>

I've managed to connect to the internet on my mobile through broadband without any problems, and I have also managed to use the mobile as a modem for the laptop before too.

The trouble that I'm having is that when I try to connect like this, (I am dialling *99# at the moment after reading it somewhere) I end up connecting via my network provider (GPRS) rather than via my PC.

I think that I may be overriding the dummy gprs connection on the phone with the *99# that I use in the dial up networking connection.

Does anyone have any ideas how I can make this work? (without just buying a BT adaptor for the laptop 😊 )

Please let me know if I need to clarify!

Thanks in advance
