Taken from another thread, so moved out to it's own one, so as not to be off-topic...

Hi,
Yes it's great! So cool for obvious text stuff - SMS use, typing notes, etc.
Best use - GAME PLAY !!! Done all 10 levels of Bounce - so much easier with the keyboard.
Plus neat things on it like shortcuts to the applications (MP3 / WEB / etc), ALT+TAB to swap applications, speaker mode entered when inserted, charger socket (back left side).
Also, different layouts will be available, not just UK style (QWERTY) as shown here.
I'll add more posts with the cradle/BT car kit/BT headset next week, if you're interested - let me know.

With some friends... 😊
Open the lid...
Pull the sides (centre section pops up - very James Bond)...
Left side close up (Fn+Q = Web / Fn+W=Calendar)...
Right side close up (Fn+O = MP3 / Fn+P=Games)...

But when can we buy it???
price availability etc ? 😊
Is it just me or does the Sendo X keyboard look very very similar to the "old" Compaq iPAQ keyboards...? Just wondering if anyone has tested to see if they're the same...? 🙄 BTW I'm not looking to do Sendo out of any revenue for their keyboards (they still haven't officially released in the UK)...it's just that I have an "old" Compaq iPAQ keyboard sitting around doing very little at the moment.
the thing is, you connect your phone to the keyboard without bluetooth. You plug it in the keyboard.
So i really don't think your keyboard would work. Moreover, i don't think they are the same.

It's similar. The main difference however would be the connector.
The iPAQ one would not fix the Sendo X.
I thought as much...it was a daft question really when I thought about it. Sorry for taking up your time....but thanks for the prompt replies - much appreciated. :icon14:
So where to get freaking keyboard?
we are all awaiting release.. 😊
Oddly enough on www.expansys.com they have the Sendo X keyboard for purchase (at 47.95) already even though the Sendo X is only available on pre-order. The same is true for the special Sync Pack (with the desktop charger/sync unit and USB cables) and the "Executive" carry case... :con? Look under the Sendo X device in the pre-order section and then look at the "Accessories" Go figure...
BTW I don't work for Expansys.
...and have to send it back, since I've ordered the German version and received the English one. The replacement keybord is promised to leave today. BTW I ordered it through the German Sendo shop (-- I have no relation to). So the keyboard should be available in all launch countries soon.
Sendo Y
i don't find a shop where they sell the AZERTY keyboard, can you tell me one ? :con?
Speedman, I think Expansys have got, or are going to get them in. I remember reading somewhere on their site about different layouts for the keyboard.
i mailed expansys a month ago and they said not to have it :frown:
can't sendo sell me this ? :con?
Hi PK
Thanks for info on the keyboard.
I'll add more posts with the cradle/BT car kit/BT headset next week, if you're interested - let me know.
I'm definately interested in hearing more about the Sendo BT Car Kit. From the photos I've seen it looks to be a rebadged Parrot CK 3000
The voice dial of the X is spot on for me most times and I want the same reliability when connected to the car kit. I'm intrigued to know if Sendo have "Sendoised" the CK3000 in any way to make it work better with the X or if they have just stuck the Sendo badge on it!
Any ideas?
Rgds
