Hi got something pretty bizarre. hopefully someone insightful can tell me what's wrong here.
I have a P800. Install the latest PC suite from the website. Meanwhile i have a TDK bluetooth USB adaptor with the latest driver installed. TDK have a special function for transferring files to P800 so it worked perfect.
BUT when i go to my bluetooh places, try to do a serial port connection, no matter what i do, the serial port icon always tell me not connected! However, when i click the error msg, the little bluetooth icon at thet tray turn green and says bluetooth has a serial port connection with my phone. Then synchronization starts. the PC suite starts--but when i want to send files from phone to pc, it does a search and cant find my PC. Does it mean my phone is synchronised with the pc, as it view both of them as a whole and cant detect it?
In addition, after i just turn on bluetooth for both device but not click serial port connection, i can send files like images or mp3 from phone to PC or other way -- after transfer completed, an msg pop up at the bluetooth icon says the "bluetooth device P800 is connected to PIM item transfer service". HUH? PIM?
I know my problem seems messy but the idea is that i need the serial port to work. the icon always says it is unconnect. why and how?? please help!!!! thanks
