Photo Editor (Bitween IT Solutions, http://www.bitween.com/v2/eng2/homeeng.htm) is available now - any experiences with this software would be appriciated!

Just to inform other users that the link is actually

no ) at the end

why to use a such software (which consume memory...) onto the phone ??

it's better to transfer the images to the PC and manipulate them with a 'regular screen'

So why use anything on the phone? Any hard- or software parts are better available on other platforms ...

Hmm :-?

that's not right, Freddie, I use many other small and usefull software on my phone, I just consider that, for some software (like this one, in particular), it's better to use them on a PC .... which (the software) can offer many of other functions unavailable on the phone - due to the memory ---

It's was just a simple remark, Fred. ----

Yeah, no problem, ur right, the advantage of using it with the phone is that u can do it anywhere - and not need a PC with u - and thats why I would like some picture software too - just for playing around with the pictures when sitting at the doctors or something like that ... 😊

I have just seen the price of this one! 20 Euros is a LOT of money for this kind of prog considering that you can do the same with a freeware on the PC! When everything else costs aprox. 10 Euros this is MUCH to expensive!

Be careful when you install it! The .SIS file is 568Kb and when I installed it, I got a low memory warning!

I'm sure it's a great app but until the 3650 comes out, I'm afraid it's not going to be of much use  .

If there were a demo version made readilly available, I wouldn't have shelled out the dosh.

It says on the web site that 200Kb is all that's needed to run it, but nothing about the half meg storage space needed to install it.

Thats bad ... I've only seen the 200 kb and thought thats the flash mem and not the working mem ... 500 kb is too big indeed ... I recently deleted MGS and all other big apps to save mem ... 😊

People, hang five!

I've just received an e-mail from the people behind this application and I have totally changed my mind about the application!

Whereas I wouldn't have recommended this to anybody, I now do recommend it...... strongly......

There may even be a review forthcoming (and no, I haven't been bribed - they just listened to a little user feedback 😃 )

Even though your opinion is highly valued, could you please be more specific as to why you really recomend this? Just a few words?

Sorry 😮ops:

I got a little over excited there for a minute.

I sent an e-mail to Bitween telling them that as far as I was concerned, their application was uninstallable. At more than 500Kb, I was unable to install it with my current configuration.

They therefore sent me a single language version which only takes up 330k. It installed with no problem, and even some of that can be cut down by uninstalling the clip-art (more than 130kb if my guess is correct).

The application is very smooth, responsive and has some very neat features. I've just uninstalled PhotoFX, this is much better (even if it doesn't have that cool spinning cube thing).

Well they haven't got a Trial version on their site! I cant really buy software that I never tried! Do you know if they will release a trial?

Sorry guys, it was a long week and we really don't have time to update the site , you can now download a trial directly from Handango and also to our site sirectly:

www.bitween.com/nokia/pe.zip

you will have a zipped file with 6 different SIS file , one for each languages so we have solved the problem of the space on the device finally:9
We have worked very hard on this products and still we have to fix a couple of things to improve better , anyway in 20 days we will also have preview effects on the fliy and resizing for more than 100 % and the upgradign is free ...

Sorry again but we spend most of this week to fix many bugs that are platoform dependent ... so they drive us crazy ... Ciao RobyOne

Hi Robi, when your updating PE I would like to see one improvement: At the file menue the possibility to send as E-Mail, not only MMS!

This definitely looks interesting - I'll install the demo and try it later...

Just registered my CameraFX but that wasnt anywhere near as good as I thought it would be! Yeah it lets you zoom and stretch and add frames and stuff but you CANNOT save the changes you make to a picture!

Does this seem stupid or is it just me?? You DO get the option to save the picture after editing but the changes are NOT kept... Anyone else tried this??

Anyway, its always nice to have more than one similar program so you can compare them... Lets see if this beats CameraFX.... 😊

It surely is much better than CameraFX, which I registered too and regretted. With CameraFX u cant even use the 640 x 480 of the 7650 - its limited to a quarter of this.

I have couple of proplems whit software:
-when taking pictures, upside of screen blinks blue? but not seen in picture
-resize not working: ends system failure

by the way I have finnish version...

I tried it and did not like it. Few bugs, memory problems, useless IMHO.

7650 can take snapshots and for editing just use your PC.

Just my 0.2 cts,

Cizake
