A good thing that they are gonna make it for more devices than PPC and Palm! I hope this will come to UIQ very soon too though!
I have been waiting for something like this for a while, especially since they stopped supporting Psions. Countrywide coverage all installed at once rather than relying on downloads as you go that other programs do. I have seen their Citymaps program which offered great detail, but only major cities (London, Birmingham) unlike the last version of Citymaps for Psion which offered national coverage.
I am glad they have brought this out, do you think they will offer it without GPS device for if you have your own?
What will some of us do with lots of apps stored on MMC? Will there be any space to put them on with the software?
Does the TomTom Mobile work on other Symbian Smartphones than the
Nokia 6600 ??
I mean, is the software designed and "limited" to Symbian 7 devices only,
or does it run on Symbian 6.1 devices as well (Sendo X, 3650/3660, N-Gage, SX-1 etc..)
I would really like to run this software on my Sendo X.
I've got it working quite nicely on my Nokia 6260, although you will need a card reader to transfer the folders on to your RSMMC
Does anyone know how to put european maps on?
I guess you just buy the relevant map from Tom Tom and then copy the directory structure over just like you did for your UK one.
Does anyone know a navigation software compatible with motorola A1000.
