Am all new to this, someone please help !
I have recently purchased (well free on contract 😃 ) the Motorola A925. I have tried numerous times to download file/apps to the phone but it keeps telling me that i need this file.
I found one site that had it and downloaded but when i installed it on the phone it came up with the message "Incompatible Application: According to the software information, this application is not compatable with your handset. Do you want to proceed anyway?"
Y ?
Does anyone know where i can find a version that will work ??

do not install SonyEricssonP80xPlatform.sis onto your phone.
This is what you have to do.
Using your computer click on D: (Memory card)
right click and choose create new folder call it system
open this folder then right click and create another folder and call it Install
open this folder and paste SonyEricssonP80xPlatform.sis into it.

what about 3-d games like V-Rally, would they work?
Sorry I'm just curious because I've seen quite a few P8/900 games available, and I can't find any A925 games. Thanks 😊

How can I do this if I don't have a memory card? If it's possible.
Also, i would be very gratefull if someone could email me the SonyEricssonP80XPlatform.sis, dalys(at)chokladboll(dot)se.

I've got a strange problem
I've put this file "SonyEricssonP80xPlatform.sis"
on the memory card in the \system\ folder ..
And I still can't install some applications.
Really strange. Cause it says that this file is midding 😉 And IT'S THERE!
Really REALLY annoying.
Anyone know anything about this ?

Sorry. I realized my mistake. I forgot about the Install folder beneath it.

Didn't you get a 32MB card with the phone?
Use your computer and paste SonyEricssonP80XPlatform.sis into a folder
Now using an app like Qfileman find the folder where you put it and then just move it to C:/system/install
Or your other option is to go to a shop and buy an SD/MMC card 😉

I don't know as I don't have V-rally to try out
Once you have put SonyEricssonP80xPlatform.sis onto your phone you will be able to play most P8/900 games
