Hi Gurus of N6600..
I'm at the edge of handing over my phone to a buyer.
Last night I was deleting my contacts and took out my MMC and plug into a card reader to clean my MMC. As I put back my MMC and restart my phone, it doesn't boot up.
I just stay at the white screen with the blue NOKIA words on it. Flashing a few times and it went off and shut itself.
HELP! I'm in deep trouble now. Suppose to hand over the phone by end of this week. What should I do?
I can't get into anywhere but watching the white screen with nokia word flashing for a couple of seconds.
Please if you faced such problem before kindly email me and guide me what to do...

First, try to start the phone without the MMC if it doesn't work, try to format the phone to remove the problematic programs on the your phone (see the sticky on "full phone formatting"😉

Well thanks for the tips but I've been trying the whole day even till the extend I charge my phone for an hour and performing the 3 key formatting. Tried with sim card and mmc, tried without sim but with mmc, tried without both sim & mmc yet still stuck at the same white screen with the nokia word flashing for awhile before it went blank again.
I guess there's no other solution but to send back to the pro to do it.
Anyway, thanks a million for replying to cry.
u have to contact Nokia service center
it need a reflash.

im frm india aurangabad(maharashtra) last week i went to nokia service center for upgrading my nokia 6600 ( too far frm my town 250 kms ) & they chutyass ask me to keep my phone with them atleast for 15 days ! i dont know wht to do now ...............can anyone help me ? may be im gonna change my brand coz its costly to buy n6600 & again travalling to these stupid service stations for two times .........................wht u say frds.....................................?
Well even i suggest u that u should consult a PRIVATE service center.It will done the work in MAX 30 Min and take abt 400 Rs from you.
U just go to any Good Service Center and ask for that u want to reflash They just do on the spot.

I request u to plz don't give your phone to any private or unauthorised dealer.
bcoz "Tampered software-can effect the performance of the phone".
It's is advisible to always go to nokia service centre.
And wht u say above is disscusting, rediculous.
There is no one service centre of nokia going to say u have give your phone for 15 days.
maximum u have to wait for 2 hours and your phone will be reflashed.
