SD/MMC card problems

Hello everyone,

I have the following problem: my Sendo X doesn't write to MMC/SD cards 😞

I bought a 256Mb SD card a few days ago and the phone recognizes the card just fine. However, when I try to copy files to it, or format it, it just gives me an error (generically called "System error"😉.

If I fill the SD card with files on a laptop, the phone reads them just fine (MP3, images), it just doesn't seem to be able to write to the card...

I went to the store and I tried different cards (as I already knew the sendos and nokias are a bit picky about certain brands of cards) but none worked: 256Mb SDs and MMCs and 128 and 64Mb MMCs.

Does anyone have any idea? I have the latest firmware and have formated the phone 2 times to no avail.

Thanks,

try to format your card using the format option on the phone, not on the pc.

also check if you got write enabled on your card. On my mmc/sd card i got a little button that i can but on write enabled/disableD.

Write is enabled on the card, I have verified it, and the error formating the card is when I do it on the phone.

The card works just fine on the pc, just not on the phone.

My Sendo X does. Just bought a 1 Gig SD Card from Sandisk. Works perfect for MP3 storage (since I can't afford an additional iPod) and is fast. I read some reviews stating that SD cards are faster compared to MMCs and have larger capacities (MMC up to 512 MB and SD up to 1 Gig)
