Hello all.
I recently brought a Nokia 6600 (very nice phone). I tried to use the Nokia software to add mp3's to the mmc card. When i was trying, all the software wanted to do is convert the mp3 to wav.
I tried epocware pc file manager demo, but that wont connect to the phone.
I can add wav files myself, but want them to be mp3.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
Jamie
Out of the box, the 6600 doesn't play MP3's. You need an app like Read-M, UltraMP3 or MP3Go, for example: http://www.allaboutsymbian.com/shop/
Note that the 6600 can only generate mono, not stereo, sound.
Ok first of all you need some sort of Third Party application to play your MP2's on your 6600. It doesnt support native playback of MP3 files. N/A has already recommended some good players. Secondly to transfer MP3's to your phone using PC Suite, you'll need to turn off the File Converters so it doesn't automatically convert them to wav format. You can do so using PC Suite >> Control Panel >> File Converters..
