i dont know if this has been covered before ( i did search but couldnt find anythin) but i need to do a master reset on my 7610. i want to errase everything, including the stuff on the memory card. also my phone is unlocked, will the formating of the phone re-lock it to its original network??? this is the main thing i need to know before i go ahead with the procedure. cheers in advance guys an giurls

it shouldn't do.

format card to erase card. see formatting card in manual.

cheers but are you certain cause i dont want a locked phone after the procedure. also found that you can do a software format, and also one that restores it to its factory defaults. whats the difference?

I asked someone at a Nokia centre about this a while ago for my phone and the said that there is a risk of it happening.

I don't think it should though, besides, if you know what network it was locked to you can just unlock it again.

I thought that there was only one type of format (3+ * + call + power) for the 7610.
