can anybody tell me, why when i send a txt message i get 1 of 2 types of delivery reports back. the 1st one is i get a quiet beep following a display on the screen saying that the message has been deliverd, the 2nd one is that i get the normal txt mesage tone with nothing on the screen, but if you go into reports the message shows that its beem deliverd. how can i make it do the latter for every message recieved. it saves having to look at the screen every time for the report to show that its been sent.

There is only 1 type of delivery report, your text tone that sounds when the report comes back is actually a software bug, the phone thinks its receiving a new message, when its just a report confirmation, this usually only occurs when you delete the sent message before receiving the report.

Just Format Your Phone and Card then this will be go away. R u using any 3rd party application or and Try & Buy application.
Mostly 3rd party software create this
in my phone this error was due to Try and Buy Applications.
3rd party apps have nothing in common with this bug.It's indeed a software bug (that I've also experienced in 3.42.1,and haven't happened since I'm on 5.27.0).
