Have any of you tried both of these phones? If so, which did you think is the best in terms of general feel+use+functions of the phone? how much better is the s700's display and camera? i know the s700 has 256k colours and 1.3 megapixel camera, but are they significantly better than the 7610?

I would like an answer to that as well. I just couldn't wait to get a new phone after my Treo 600 died (1 story drop out of a window 😞) otherwise I would've waited for the S700 as it *looks* like a better phone.

"GSMARENA" has cleared the the picture quality of s700. IS much better than 7610.

It does. And when you look at the review from BengalBoy (who had a newer ROM and better lightning conditions) the quality of the S700 impressed me even more.
Delta Does the picture quality of 6630 would be same.
i know it is not being out but do u know anything regarding this.
I think the S700 will still be a bit better. The S700 has a CCD ship, which is usually better then a CMOS chip...
Don't forget the camera is the main focus of the S700, so it isn't really surprising they put a good camera in it.

Ohhh, now how to figure out a way to trade in my 7610 for a s700 😃. I am not surpirsed with Sony's years of experieince in cameras they should make a better camera phone. Thanks for the info!
