Why is there a 😊 beneath the B-cover, if you remove the B-cover to place your sim-card into the phone there is a 😊 next to the camera.
Are they at NOKIA so funny???

any chance of some good close ups of the main system board, with a proper camera and not the 7650 😊

I am very interested in seeing those 😊

My theory.. Some Nokia engineers planned to put smiley there because: When new user thinks about half hour where to put SIM card and decide to take user manual. After that he/she is sooo happy to find out where to put SIM card and there is also smiley 😃 😃

I think most Nokias had a smiley somewhere. On the old 5110 if you took the front cover off, the earpiece was in the shape of a smiley, the 6210 that I took apart a while ago had one (earpiece again I think) and the 7650 has one by the sim slot.

Anyone else taken other models apart (eg. 8x series) and found these?

I think it's a kind of Nokia signature, Some companies just don't take life too seriously. The old Commodore Amiga 1000 has the developers signatures embossed on the inside of the case.

I would love to believe that 😉.. Cos that would make you a developer of the Nokia 7650. And then we can all bomb you with questions 😉

Ta.

The 6210 has a smiley? My eyesight sucks...didn't notice it anywhere inside the phone.

The 33x0 series also has a smiley when you remove the A-cover, right next to the earpiece.

Oh, if anyone here happens to have a Mac (the original Macintosh, the 128, 512 and Plus versions) you'll notice the developers' sigantures embossed on the inside too!
