A touch screen would be nice indeed. My perfect device would be running Series 90 incorporating a full keyboard in a communicator form factor. But I don't think it's a big issue in devices running Series 80. First of all the screen is very narrow - making it cumbersome to fiddle around on it with a stylus. Second, you have keyboard shortcuts for almost everything. Third, in the 9500 you can use the 9-way navigational pad as a mouse pointer to navigate around web pages etc.
Nokia 9600???

Heh thats pushing it too much. Nokia in my case wouldn't be so eager as already two devices the 9500 and 9300 are being released simultaneously so quickly. Definately more than the year after the last device is released in this case whichever 9500 or the 9300 is released in the end.
The existing Series 80 UI does already support touch screen. Only the hardware does not support it. It works on the PC emulator, and I seem to remember that Nokia was suggesting in development guides that all applications for 92xx should support touch screen...Regards,
