help! 7610 not getting jiggy with gprs-wap

After looking through the threads here i've resorted to posting a new one. i apologize if this topic has been covered previously - i looked and did not find.

I cannot get my phone to download wap sites. it seems to connect and then i get the message "services (or Web): unable to perform operation." sometimes it tells me to check my connection settings (done that about 100 times now - they're in order. my SIM works in a 6600 and gets the wap sites. but Mr 6600's SIM would not download in my 7610... ???!!!) and sometimes it closes the wap-browser application on me (App. close Ncnlist.... huh?)

i am at my wit's end here. i want my gprs-wap!

gprs-internet and MMS services work without a hitch. what's with the wap? i have heard of this problem with 7610 on other forums, but no real solutions have been disclosed as of yet. surely someone out there has a suggestion! please oh please! =)

first up, lets start with the obvious...have you put in the advanced settings? when your setting up your phone in settings, click options, go into advanced settings...if its blank you need to put your ip address in...let me know...

i just went to nokia's site and had them send over the connection settings - that way i know that everythings in order...
