When i play mp3s on my p800 open, which is pretty inconvenient especially if I want to put the device in my pocket. Am I missing something? Is there a way to play music with the flip closed?

There should be a music player in flip closed mode. If not, get a firmware upgrade at a SE service center, because then you have a very old firmware version...

Or you could buy apps like Unreal Player, they have a good FC mode as well...

Try unreal player... very good.

Not only you can hear music with your flip closed but also change the volume and the song!
